Use
of Articles
‘A’,
‘an’ and ‘the’ are collectively called as articles.
‘a’
is used before consonant sounds
For
eg. – a few people, a little sugar
‘an’
is used before vowel sounds
For
eg. – an artist’s creativity, an egg
‘a’ and ‘an’ are indefinite articles whereas ‘the’ is a definite
article.
For
eg. – The earth is round.
